Cover of Blood & Ash by Deborah Wilde

After I finished Nava’s story, I decided that my next series would not involve nefarious agendas that grew larger and more global with each book, because dayum, that’s a lot of work.

So yeah, that didn’t go so well. 😛

Once I’d decided that Ash was going to be a P.I., I became fascinated with the idea of a woman who faces the greatest mystery of her career: herself.

That led me down the path of conspiracies and con artistry and a character dedicated to truth, answers, and never being taken advantage of, who might be the ultimate mark.

Which brought me back to an ever growing, over-arching conflict as the series progressed.

I really am going to write a series where you just get to have fun with the characters from book to book. One day. Possibly.

Meantime, if you haven’t had a chance to read Blood & Ash, grab it today! https://geni.us/BloodAndAsh

I loved Nava’s books and wasn’t sure I would like these, especially since Sherlock Holmes doesn’t do it for me, but I should have trusted you. I love learning more about Judaism (thanks), the characters are just as good as the Nava ones, and I’m loving the new stuff! This series is a little harder to follow (sorry, my only criticism) but well worth it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! Best wishes, -j
