📚I’ve been thinking about how big a role luck plays in the success of any book. There are books I think are horrible that have blown up in a massive way, and books that IMHO are phenomenal that barely make a ripple.

Timing factors into luck as well. I truly believe that sometimes, a readership is poised and ready to receive a book, while others, it’s simply too soon, too far off course of the current trends, or perhaps too late to the game.

I was lucky with this series and I will always be deeply grateful to every person who enthusiastically spread the word about it.
